IMPROVEMENTS WE CAN IMPLEMENT IN YOUR BLOCK FACTORY

DRYING AREA

The drying of the pieces can become as important as its manufacture, therefore, we believe that it is essential that you have a drying area for the concrete pieces in your factory.

How to manufacture a quality concrete?

The use of a very dry mixture is a very beneficial factor for the machines as they work much better with a drier concrete.

This implies that during the drying process you must take into account that if the mixture lacks water we will have a concrete that does not react so we will not get the maximum resistance.

For that, we will have to have a controlled drying by temperature and humidity with which we will be able to save between 5 and 10% of the amount of concrete, therefore reducing the costs of the blocks.

How must the drying be done?

The drying must be made in a closed cabin, in an area where humidity and temperature are controlled, avoiding air flow and the incidence of the sun to achieve an improvement in quality.

Then, it will be done in a humid place where the temperature is around 30 degrees and there is a humidity not exceeding 80% incorporating temperature and humidity meters.

We recommend to incorporate a forced air movement and the application of water by spraying.
