DRYING AREA

The drying of the pieces is as important as its manufacture, therefore, we believe that it is essential that you have a drying area for the concrete pieces in your factory.

How to manufacture a quality concrete?

The use of a very dry mixture is a very beneficial factor for the machines as they work much better with a drier concrete.

To achieve its maximum resistance, blocks are humidified when curing as dryer blocks are less reactive.

Drying with controlled temperature and humidity will enable the saving of between 5 and 10% of the amount of cement needed, therefore reducing the costs of the blocks.

How must the drying be done?

The drying must be made in a closed cabin, in an area where humidity and temperature are controlled, avoiding air flow and exposure to sunlight to achieve an improvement in quality.

The drying area must be around 30 degrees and humidity must not exceed 80%. Therefore, measuring equipment is needed.

We recommend to incorporate a forced air movement and the application of water by spraying.
